Let's look at some things we learned.
So the Loki Season 2 trailer has just dropped online and its safe to say we are super excited for it to return to our screens on October 8th. We loved season 1 and cannot wait to see what season 2 brings.
With that said, the new trailer has given us some glimpses of new information, some we knew, some we didn't, let's have a little look at some things we learned now!

What’s happening to Loki?
The trailer opens seemingly straight after the ending of Season 1. With both Mobius and Loki, the latter still sporting the torn and bloodied costume from the season 1 finale. Its quickly established that not all is right with Loki and he seems to be ‘time-slipping’.
This means he is being pulled from one time to another without choice or knowing why. It seems that is is going to be a large part of the second season as we see Loki being pulled through various time periods due to this. Even potentially meeting his past self. It's clear this is going to be a problem that they need to try and solve. This causes them to ask for help from a new face…
Ke Huy Quan!
The trailer features new character OB played by the Oscar winning Ke Huy Quan!.
The trailer explains that OB knows what is happening to Loki and is the one to mention the new term time-slipping however he also mentions that it should not be happening within the TVA and he does not know how to stop it. We also see him pop up with Loki and co a few times within the trailer, so it's safe to say he is around for the long term and will be trying to help Mobius and Loki fix the timeline.
Returning Faces and an Upcoming Threat
The trailer also showed us some familiar faces returning from season 1, such as Sophia De Martino as Sylvie, Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Ravonna Renslayer and Wunmi Mosaku as Hunter B-15, who in the trailer teams up with Mobius and Loki.
We see both Sylvie and Ravonna both on paths of their own, its hinted that Ravonna is on the hunt for Kang/He Who Remains/ A Variant in search of answers. As for Sylvie, her actions at the end of season 1 has caused the multiverse to splinter and shatter in a matter of directions. Its said that Loki will be ‘On the Hunt’ for Sylvie and we see in the trailer that they will in fact come face to face once again.
It's also clear that Kang/ his variants are a big part of this season. With Season 1 ending with the prospect of Kang now in charge of the DVA and therefore the multiverse and time itself, it seems that Loki and co will be on the hunt for answers as to who this antagonist is and how they can stop him. Even coming across one of his variants known as Victor Timely…
War is Coming
Towards the ending of the trailer we hear Loki announce that “War is on its way” as well as the trailer itself saying that “The timeline is running out”.
It's evident that the actions of Season 1 has had a huge ramification for season 2, but as we see shots of all our characters in perilous situations. Hints of Kang and Victor Timely, War and destruction coming to the TVA itself and Loki and Sylvie teaming up to unleash the power and mischief on a whole bunch of enemies and TVA agents, i think it's fair to say that this series could have serious consequences for the future of the MCU and the multiverse.
We cannot wait to see what Loki Season 2 has in store for us, we just have to wait until October 8th to find out!
