Welcome To Level 2
Hey Everyone,
Welcome to Level 2.
I hope you have been keeping well and safe, hopefully by now most of you have managed to have the vaccine and have managed to go outside a bit more now things are back to normal.
I want to start off by apologising for the lengthy absence, whilst we intended to only take a few weeks off, we ended up taking nearly 3 months away from the lab. In that time I have been planning the future of the lab, taking some time out for my own mental health and also starting a podcast!
But before we get into that we have one thing to say…
Happy Birthday to The Review Lab! One years old today!
A year ago today, in the middle of a pandemic, I decided that it was time to create this little blog of mine and start writing about the topics I care about the most, whilst the posting schedule has been a little sporadic (Sorry again) the support from everyone has been amazing. I have loved every second of writing for The Review lab and this is only just the beginning. Starting with a brand new logo!
As I have mentioned there has been a lot of planning for the next year of the lab, such as continuing our Through the Vortex Series (Starting with Series 4 of Doctor Who), more thoughts and theories/ Let's Talk About… Posts. Aswell as much more reviews and news from all areas such as Film; TV; Comics and Gaming.
We have also started a brand new podcast with good friend of the pod Mr Connor Nagi. The podcast is called ‘Rock, Spock & Two Smoking Microphones’. Each week we speak about the latest in pop culture as well as a topic such as the latest in films and its trailers, or a fun topic of our choice such as the Star Wars Prequels. New episodes drop every monday so be sure to subscribe on Spotify and Apple Podcasts now! We also hope to expand into Youtube very soon…
So the future of the lab is bright, there are alot of posts coming, but they will be coming in my own time, the plan is to try and get a post or two a month to you guys (Uness something major like a new trailer or film announcement happens) and then go from there!
